Boost Your Kids’ Immunity with Chyawanprash

The cries in this crisis of coronavirus outbreak echo the importance of immunity. Even the countries with the strongest ammunition or bravest leaders are on the verge of a meltdown. The only weapon to win this war is immunity.

So, let’s pledge to make young India Immune!

Everyone is aware of the high risk in aged people. They also know about better immunity in adults. However, the concept of immunity in young children is very fuzzy. Blame the contradictory articles on the net.

So, to make young India immune, you need to understand this system better!

Immune system: Under a microscope

The immune system is a series of cells that protect us from invading pathogens and intruders throughout our lifetime. It’s the defense wall that keeps us healthy and resists the repetition of infections.

The immune system in young children

Newborn babies acquire immune cells from their mothers through the placenta and breast milk. That’s why breastfeeding is very crucial for newborn babies for at least 6 months. Over time, the baby’s immune system becomes mature to fight off infections.

Healthy lifestyle, exercise, food habits, and sleep time help to strengthen the immune system in young children. The immune system in young children is not fully developed. Hence, it is more vulnerable to pathogens.

The simple observation that children suffer from infections more often than adults is enough to prove the point. On average, a child suffers from four to eight respiratory infections per year. This number varies depending on several factors.

So, considering that a young one has a strong wall is a mistake!

Boosting Baby’s Immune System

Breastfeeding is one of the best ways to support a baby’s immune system. Getting vaccines at the scheduled time also builds their immunity against many microbes.

Uplifting Immune system in young kids

The immune system starts to mature from the age of 3. In this time, children should have a very active routine. Running, playing, and jumping daily. Load your diet with nutritious items. Fruits, vegetables, nuts, pulses, milk, and eggs should comprise most of their meals.

Rice, roti, dosa, and idli should comprise their main meals. Children must consume ghee in their diet. Also, cutting back on unhealthy junk, and processed foods is essential. Maintain your sleep time. And their screen time should be very limited!

Along with all these, Ayurvedic immune boosters can play a great role in improving children’s immunity. Researchers hailed Chyawanprash as a great immune-booster.
