Pure Aloe Vera is the pulp extracted from the leaves of Aloe vera plant. It’s natural, effective and does not cause any side effects. However, many companies manufacture their own version of Aloe vera gel with added preservatives.

Though many of these gels are effective, they may not be as safe as the pure Aloe vera gel. It is better not to apply the manufactured gels on open wounds or cracked nipples. As some preservatives may increase the irritability of the wounds.
